A downloadable version of Prospero Extended Pascal
for Windows is available, and you can obtain it by following the link
at the bottom of this page. Before you do so, we suggest that you read
the summary below, and the more detailed descriptions that can be found in
the referenced pages.
Summary
The downloadable version is a complete set of
software that can be installed as a new application, or be used
to update an existing installation. It takes the form of a
self-extracting EXE file, which when executed detects the current
status and updates or installs as appropriate. Following an initial
installation, the software can be used to process conventional Pascal
programs, and there is a tutorial that takes you through a range
of supplied examples, viewing the source text and going through the
steps of processing and runing executable programs.
Temporarily, following installation, it will be
necessary for you to contact Prospero and request registration of your
copy. You can do this using the message form you will find under
"Contact" in the home page. For more details see the reference below.
For more detailed description, see Installing
a new copy or Updating an existing
installation.
A beta version of the new release 3.2.08 is also now available. Due to differences from the previous release, it is at present suggested only as an update, and not recommended for new users. Download 3.2.08.
